THE LATEST UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE NEWS – Greek champions Olympiakos stalled Arsenal’s winning hopes through a 2-1 fixture in Tuesday’s Champions League.

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has called on his side to remain strong and united in the face of their lacklustre form this season. The Gunners currently sit in 10th place in the table after losing at home to Swansea City 0-2.


Wenger is confident that they will still win w1th ease in matches to gain a higher place in this season’s league table. He said that he believes in the “quality of the players and the spirit we have”.

THE LATEST ENGLISH PREMIER LEAGUE NEWS – Arsenal came on red-hot against visitors Tottenham Hotspur as they thrilled the Emirates stadium home crowd by securing a 5-2 win on Saturday’s Premier League.

The Spurs sought to win w1th ease against Arsenal as striker Emmanuel Adebayor slotted on the 10th minute. His send-off against Arsenal’s Santi Cazorla caused his side to crumble throughout the game.

With Adebayor out of the pitch by the 17th minute, Arsenal took the advantage to heighten their lead. Per Mertesacker first fired an equalizer, then Lukas Podolski and Olivier Giroud followed suit with goals before half time. Cazorla found the back of the net on the 60th minute.

Gareth Bale brought in the Spurs’ second and last goal of the game on the 71st minute, but his 10-man side failed to settle matters, letting in Theo Walcott’s injury time finish that ensured victory for the home side.
