It was a heart breaking loss for the Mississippi State Bulldogs in week 2 as their last second drive at Auburn fell inches short of the endzone and with no timeouts the clock expired with no chance to run another play. If there are big concerns for MSU it’s the run defense which has allowed 199 yards per game including some big runs to Auburn’s Michael Dyer who gauged the Bulldog D for 150 yards and two touchdowns.
The LSU Tigers had what amounted to an off week or a scrimmage last week as they played FCS Northwestern State for their home opener. While Les Miles’ LSU team made a lot of news off the field before their opener against Oregon for suspension1s, they made even more news on the field as they handled last year’s runner up in the National Championship game, Oregon, in a dominating physical fashion.- by http://sportschatplace.com
