Crystal Palace VS Birmingham City 12 BET preview ENGLISH LEAGUE CHAMPIONSHIP: 12/20 3:45AM GMT+8

Teenage winger Zaha gets an enforced rest due to suspension after collecting his fifth booking of the season against Nottingham Forest last weekend.

Darren Ambrose was an unused substitute at Forest and could replace Zaha in the starting line-up.

Centre-half Dekel Keinan has had injections to speed up his recovery from a twisted ankle but is unlikely to be ready, and full-back Dean Moxey remains a doubt with the knee injury he suffered at Manchester United in the Carling Cup last month.

Defender Lee Hills (knee) and midfield duo Jonathan Williams (broken leg) and Alex Marrow (ankle) are long-term absentees for the Eagles.

Skipper Stephen Carr comes back into the reckoning for Birmingham.

The veteran right-back was rested for Thursday's 1-0 Europa League victory over NK Maribor, as he has has been for virtually all of the club's Group H matches.

The victory, along with an impressive tally of 10 points from six matches, was not enough to send Blues through to the knockout stages of the competition.

But one real plus on the night at St Andrew's was the scintillating performance of teenage winger Nathan Redmond, who has left manager Chris Hughton with a real decision to make over his involvement at Selhurst Park.
Redmond was one of eight changes to face the Slovenian side from the XI who triumphed 1-0 over Doncaster last weekend and Hughton, who has juggled his ranks well this season, is likely to reinstate the rested likes of Boaz Myhill, Steven Caldwell and Marlon King.

Midfielder Jordon Mutch will again be in contention having returned from his broken ankle in midweek, although the game comes too soon for him to start. Left-back Liam Ridgewell (thigh) is not yet ready. http://www.skysports.com
