Southend United Vs Cheltenham Town football match preview

Southend United's poor home run has seen them win just 1 and draw 2 of the last six. While Shrimpers have scored 4, a worringly large 9 have been leaked at the other end. Southend United are just outside the promotion places, in 5th, having taken 67 points from 39 games.

Cheltenham Town's away form is none too clever either, accumulating just 1 victory and 1 draw from their last six played. The Robins's have scored 9 goals in these games, but conceded an alarming 11. Cheltenham Town's total of 65 points from their 39 games sees them sitting in the playoff places in npower League Two.

Current Milan players Ibrahimovic, Maxi Lopez, Van Bommel and Zambrotta have all had spells with the Blaugrana during their careers.

Barcelona have already beaten AC Milan at San Siro this season, winning 3-2 on Matchday 5 during Group H action. Guardiola's side topped Group H with 16 points and the Italians were runners-up with nine points. The Catalans have won nine matches in a row in all competitions since a 3-2 loss to Osasuna in early February.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bolton Wanderers match preview

Aaron Lennon is likely to be missing for Spurs, meaning that Harry Redknapp will again have to find a solution to cure a lopsided midfield that has affected the north Londoners' performances in recent weeks. Spurs are also without long-term absentees Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Heurelho Gomes. Carlo Cudicini, Ryan Nelsen and Danny Rose are likely to deputise for the side's cup squad.

Ricardo Gardner, Lee Chung-Yong and Stuart Holden have been missing for the Trotters for much of the season and they have been joined by Fabrice Muamba as the midfielder continues to recover in intensive care after suffering a cardiac arrest in the tie's initial game. Top scorer Ivan Klasnic may return to the side after starting the weekend's win over Blackburn on the bench and Arsenal loanee Ryo Miyaichi is likely to continue on the left wing after a string of excellent performances since his temporary switch to the Reebok Stadium.

West Bromwich Albion vs Newcastle United football liga match preview

Jonas Olsson will return to Albion's defence after a one-match suspension and his probable recall alongside Gareth McAuley means Liam Ridgewell is likely to revert from central defence to left-back in place of Nicky Shorey. Albion are hopeful striker Peter Odemwingie will be fit after missing the 1-1 draw at Wigan last weekend with a hamstring injury. Midfielder Zoltan Gera and right-back Steven Reid remain long-term absentees.

Newcastle midfielder Cheick Tiote is rated at 50-50 to return from injury at West Brom on Sunday. The Ivory Coast international missed last weekend's 1-0 win over Norwich with a hamstring problem and remains a doubt, although full-back Danny Simpson has a chance of returning from his adductor strain.

Cardiff City VS Coventry City football match preview

Cardiff manager Malky Mackay has hinted Rudy Gestede could return. After drawing 0-0 with Burnley at the weekend, Mackay will be desperate for his squad to show they are not suffering a Carling Cup hangover following the defeat on penalties to Liverpool. Since that game the Bluebirds have only won only one of their five games, scoring just four goals in the process.

Coventry are sweating on the fitness of striker Cody McDonald. McDonald was only fit enough for a place amongst the substitutes in the 1-1 draw with Watford at the weekend and may have to settle for a similar role again as he struggles to fully overcome a groin problem. Andy Thorn also has concerns over winger David Bell who has missed the Sky Blues' last three games with a groin problem.

Bristol City Vs Watford football liga match preview

Bristol City will again be without defender Lewin Nyatanga. The Robins will be without the centre-back for a further three weeks due to his persistent ankle injury. The Wales international has had an injection to try and cure the problem, but it will not be a quick solution. Manager Derek McInnes will be without the services of on-loan midfielder Sean Davis as a thigh strain keeps him out and the Bolton man is fighting to be fit for the weekend game at Middlesbrough.

Winger Kacaniklic is expected to have a better chance of involvement, however, despite being forced off 10 minutes from time with a leg problem. Manager Sean Dyche has options should Mariappa not make it, with Dale Bennett back in full training following his bout of concussion at West Ham while fellow defender Martin Taylor is also fit again after a broken toe. Otherwise, long-term injury victim Stephen McGinn (knee) is the only absentee as he continue his road to recovery.

Liverpool vs Stoke City football liga match preview

Liverpool have only managed to claim victory in four out of their last 12 fixtures, drawing four and losing the same amount. The Reds are looking to claim a domestic double for the first time since 2001, when they beat Birmingham City on penalties to lift the League Cup, then defeated Arsenal in the dramatic closing minutes of the FA Cup final thanks to two goals from Michael Owen. This will be the first time the two sides have met in the FA Cup since 1988, when a Peter Beardsley strike helped Liverpool win a replay.

The Anfield encounter will be Stoke City’s 46th game of this season, having started the campaign in July against Hajduk Split in the Europa League. While Liverpool have played all of their FA Cup games at home, Stoke have had to play each of Gillingham, Derby and Crawley away from the Britannia Stadium. The Potters have only conceded more than one goal once in their last 15 FA Cup ties, spanning three seasons.

Crystal Palace Vs Hull City football liga match preview

Wilfried Zaha is suspended for Crystal Palace's clash with Hull. The teenage winger starts a three-game ban after he was sent off during the 1-1 draw at Burnley last weekend. Midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi could miss out again with a hamstring injury but winger Sean Scannell should be fit after a tight calf.

Hull winger Robbie Brady hopes to shake off a recurring thigh problem in time to feature. Brady missed the midweek win at Cardiff that propelled the Tigers back into the top six, but could return to contention. The Tigers, in sixth place with a game in hand on most of their rivals, are unbeaten in their last 10 league matches.
