Boro striker holding out hope for Euro 2012
Middlesbrough striker Lukasz Jutkiewicz is not writing off the possibility of playing at Euro 2012 for Poland.
The 22-year-old was born in Southampton and qualifies for the nation by way of his Polish grandfather. The ex-Coventry and Motherwell hitman is unsure of the situation in Franciszek Smuda's squad ahead of the tournament. However, Jutkiewicz feels that if he scores the goals for Boro between now and the summer he could win a call-up.
"I qualify for Poland and England," commented Jutkiewicz."I don't know what the situation is with Poland, but it would be amazing to be involved."If I bang in a few goals, you never know."My focus is here but if Poland are aware of me that would be great." - http://www1.skysports.com
