THE LATEST SPORTS NEWS – Young Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson expressed his preference to play for England in the senior national team.
Jenkinson is currently playing for the Under-21 team of Finland – his mother’s birthplace. He was able to impress England manager Roy Hodgson, who was looking for new talent to boost his side. The defender is currently betting to play for the English squad once allowed to do so.
Hodgson has invited Jenkinson to play for England once he is done with his duty for Finland. He said that he did not need to convince the player further to join the English team, which has played past through rival San Marino successfully last Friday
